Creative Critical Reflection   1. How does your product use or challenge conventions AND how does it represent social groups or issues? In my music video, I used conventions that are commonly seen in hip- hop music videos. For example, I included a fan scene, a  close up  shots, bright lights, shades and more. These conventions help entertain the audience. My music video was based in a room that had flashing lights and it was supposed to give off a clubhouse vibe.  People love going to the club and enjoying themselves while hearing music. This music video is aimed to everyone who hates people for things they do. Everyone should do what they please and not let what anyone say stop them. I hope after watching this people realize you can turn a bad situation into a good one quick. People that like more powerful messages will understand.      2. How does your product engage with audiences AND how would it be distributed as a real media text? My musi...

Nothing To Something Music Video "0 to 100"

The fact that I was able to do what makes me happy and use artist that enjoy a lot was so fun. It felt like I was in one of those videos like the rappers.  This video was very interesting.  From what i saw, it was a entertaining and pretty interesting concept. My favorite part was when I did the dance. I felt like Drake himself. My least favorite part though, would probably have to be the entrance. I messed that up t about five times. I was not going to include a mess up into the video. After I made it, I was like thank lord. I felt like one of those actors who can't do a scene right. Then, it went good. I felt like I just won a championship. Honestly, after that, I just went with the flow. I felt so happy that the overall project turned out good tho.  If i was asked to make another one based off of something I enjoy I honestly wouldn't mind.  It was a good experience and I hope others enjoy it. It was also pretty funny. I actually laughed watching it and again like ...

Filming Blog Part 2

Image
During the filming process, i thought out what I had to do. I had to take some to realize what i planned to do. I had to ask my cousin to record for me. I was honestly thinking "how can i pull this off?" Then my cousin came and offered her help. From there it was a instant light bulb that popped up. I told her what I had to do and he understood. The materials and surroundings that i had kind of made it hard but I still pulled it off somehow. I had to bring out my rapping. At first, i was really trying to understand what i had to do. Then i gradually just did it. I told my cousin what to do and she comprehended. I noticed from this how affected lights are. The fact that I was able to do what makes me happy and make a video like this was fun. It felt like I was in one of those videos like the celebrities. Just wished I could've got paid.  I actually felt pretty good about this. It turned out a success and I showed my cousin the finished thing and she enjoyed it. Personall...

Editing Blog:Music Video

Image
During the editing process, i had to do different things. It was not that easy. First, i was wondering how to input certain things. I had to find a way that would make the video look good.  First, since i don't have the best laptop, i had to do it on my phone.  To meet certain criteria i made sure certain parts were reduced. I had to find a beat that matches my style. So i had to introduce my favorite artist, Drake. Exactly what i asked for. The scenes at that point just started going together.  At first I felt weird. Then I found something for that. Just to try my best. I'm not used to this type of stuff so it just felt a  little off. I had to do what i had to tho to reach the requirement. Surprisingly, it actually wasn't that bad. It didn't look good tho, at first. Then boom, effects. Once I added those, it was set. At the end, i needed something to finish it off. I found that special thing.
