Storyboard Blog

Image
Storyboard Blog The first scene shows a boy coming out to a basketball hoop to play basketball. He starts playing and is doing well. He's feeling like the best player out there. The second scene shows the boy playing  and he starts to sweat. He ends us sweating heavily and getting tired. Third scene is where the Powerade starts getting introduced. It gets a big introduction and gets shown off. Talking so good about the drink. Fourth scene the boy goes over to the powerade and looks at it.He thinks about it at first.  He then continues on to drink it. Fifth scene, the boy gets back his energy. He starts smiling. He then starts going back to regular play and does dribble moves and other actions. Furthermore, he tries to go up for a dunk. After attempting his dunk, he then starts thinking about the drink. He therefore goes back for another sip of the drink. He expresses how he feels about the drink and says it tastes good. That's the storyboard.

Other props being used are a basketball, a soccer ball, jump rope, and a towel.  Costumes: In my commercial, I will be the main subject.  I would be wearing athletic clothes. I would be wearing athletic shorts and a light color tank top or a dark cotton athletic shirt. I would also be wearing basketball shoes and tennis shoes. I may also wear sweatbands too.   Research: Commercial Conventions and Codes  I am doing a Powerade commercial. In these  type of commercials, the audience usually sees people doing physical activities. For example:running, sports, and other energy consuming actions.   They wear sports outfits such as gym shorts, gym shirts, tennis shoes or basketball shoes, and jerseys. Things used in the commercial would be things such as footballs, basketballs, towels, and powerade. People usually are sweaty, and tired gasping for air. They add brighter lighting to make their skin look more sharp.  The commercials have fast- paced actions and close-up sounds that make the storyline even better. The actions being done are to make the audience feel more motivated to want to work out and be active. 1. Conventions and Codes in POWERADE Commercials include the symbolic swoosh. They add their slogan "Power Through" slogan. That slogan motivates those to work through whatever they are doing and don't stop unt...
